It’s time to jump on board. We have filled ½ of our places already.
Friday 5th October we had around 20 cars come out to Calder for our TV advert shoot.
We all had an absolute ball. Burnouts, Cruzing, Power burnouts etc and finished off with a nice BBQ.
The add will be seen on Channel 31 Grunt Files and other shows, Rodder’s Life Channel 183 on Foxtel and SBS Speed Week later in the year.
In the mean time a couple of forums have added some video footage and photos they shot. Check them out!

All prepaid entrants and spectators will have a chance to win a Blown 350 Chev show motor, a ride in a Blown Pro Street car as well as other prizes.

Vic Supercruz is hoping to see some of the toughest cars in Victoria / Australia attend the event. See website for entrant cars.
We will be holding 9 events over the 2 days and are looking for a sponsor for each event. Events are:

Supercruz, Super Straight-line Burnout, Go to Whoa Drag, Burnout Comp, Drag Shootout, Drifting, Dyno Shootout, Doughnut Sprint and Show n Shine
To promote our event we will be:
- TV 6 * 5 minute time slots on Rodder’s Life – Foxtel
- TV multiple adverts on Speed week and other shows on SBS
- TV multiple adverts on Grunt Files and other shows on Channel 31
- Newspaper – editorial in the Herald Sun
- Magazine – various car magazines
- Handing out flyers at other Car Shows, Cruz’s and Car Clubs
- Handing out flyers at Calder Park to all entrants and spectators at Friday Night Street Drags and the upcoming Pro Street Challenge
- Vic Supercruz will also have a Trader Stand at the Pro Street Challenge and some Friday Nights
- Using speaking time at the above events to give updates etc
- Using over 15 internet car forums with updates and directing them to our website

Just a quick Vic Supercruz update!
We have now reached 80 temp reserved entrants. Entrant cars are getting updated on the website as the photos are received. Check them out! http://www.vicsupercruz.com.au/entrants.htm If you have temp reserved your spot and have not sent in a photo, please do so and we will add it to the website. Photos can be emailed to admin@vicsupercruz.com.au
This will be the last opportunity for the priority group to temp reserve their spot before we send off our bulk email on Friday night. To temp reserve your spot you will need to send a confirmation email and then send in your entry form with payment within 3 weeks. If the event is cancelled a follow up date will be set. If this can’t be done or the event is totally cancelled a full refund less a $10 admin fee will be returned.
Don’t forget that you can also get a discount for your mates that want to come along with your entry. We have over $35,000 in cash and prizes to be given away including a blown 350 chev show motor. Subject to 175 + entrants.

Vic Supercruz is coming
The toughest street machine cars will be coming to Cruz Calder Park!
Well the contracts have been signed and Vic Supercruz is ready to cut loose at Calder Park Raceway on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th January 2008. This will be the scene of the first ever Vic Supercruz event.
This will be the finest car event held in Melbourne for some time and you will see some of Australia’s toughest street cars strutting their stuff and cruzing the Calder Park track. This will be two days of motoring heaven.
The weekend program for entrants and spectators is full of events for all street machine enthusiast with 9 events scheduled. Supercruz, Go to Whoa Drag, Burnout Comp, Drag Shootout, Drifting, Dyno Shootout, Doughnut Sprint, Show n Shine and the entertaining Super Straight-line burnout.
Cruzing the track is what it is all about and having as much fun as you possibly can. You will be able to do all the things on the track that you are unable to do on the streets. Just think “22 hours of street machine mayhem with your car and your mates”
Sponsored cars that we are in negotiation with include: Rob Campesi (7.13), Craig Gerdes (7.35), Tristen Ockers (7.55), Steve Athans (7.57) Mark Hayes (7.99), Craig Hewitt (8.35) and Mick McGrath (8.40) This is 7 of the top 10 Pro Street Blown cars in Australia.
As we are calling Vic Supercruz “the people’s event” we need your support to ensure that the event is successful and safe and that we are able to run more events in the future. Let’s bring back tough Street Machine events to Melbourne.
We have made a promise to ourselves that if we reached our capped limit of entrants and have 10,000 spectators over the two day event that we will immediately book 1-2 more events for 2008.
Entrant numbers will be limited to roughly 300 and will have to supply a photo and a description of their car. We want only the finest so start booking NOW.
Spectators who pre book their ticket will receive a discount on 2 day passes, a VIP seat on the straight and a chance to win a blown 350 chev, a cruz in a blown Pro Street Car and other prizes.
